*IMPORTANT: If you email us please add your camper's name to the Subject Line.*

The Prospect Camp is right around the corner and we are looking forward to your camper's arrival.  Please read this email in its entirety, as it will answer most questions that you may have.  Check-in for overnight campers will begin at 11:30am inside the lobby of Bob Barker Dorms where campers will call home the next 5 days.  If your camper is a commuter,  his check-in window will begin at 12:30 pm.  Please understand even if you arrive 30 minutes early,  check-in will still begin at our scheduled time.  You can park in the Bob Barker Hall parking lot during check-in, and check-out. If you plan to stay and watch sessions, I recommend that you park in the public parking lot J to avoid parking tickets. Attached is a campus map but if you need further directions please done hesitate to contact me by phone or text. My cell phone number is (443)487-3768.

For a more efficient check-in, please make sure that required forms are complete prior to camp.  There is a medical form that our trainer must have a hard copy of on hand and a camp waiver.  Please show up to camp with this forms completed, your camper cannot participate without it.  I will have hard copies available at check-in, so if you forget them or have trouble printing there is no need to panic. All paperwork must be filled out by the camper's legal guardian.

Your remaining camp balance is not due until check-in. You can pay by cash, check or card.
If your camper is a returning camper or attending with a team and you DID NOT register with a discount code, please email me so that I can adjust your balance. I will need the camper's name and the name of the team. Balances will not be adjusted at check-in.

If your camper has a roommate request, please email me right away. I have already begun room assignments.  We will not adjust room assignments at check-in.

If your child will be picked up from camp by someone other than a parent, guardian or coach that brought them to camp, we must have your permission in writing. Campers who drive themselves are required to turn their keys into staff during check-in.  They can not leave the campus once they arrive or transport other campers during camp.

*As a reminder, we do not provide airport transportation.

There is a housing rule on room keys, which requires a key deposit. During check in each camper must leave a $10 deposit, which will be returned at check out once the key is returned. A key found later has no value, therefore the deposit cannot be returned.
Meals are provided for overnight campers.  You may send your camper with extra snacks.  We will have a camp store, and there is a Starbucks, Chick Fil A, Moe’s etc. on campus, so if you want to send extra pocket money with your camper that is fine, but it is not a necessity. Meals are not provided for commuter campers, so they will need a packed lunch or as I stated above there are plenty of on-campus dining options.

The rooms are air-conditioned. Additional fans are permitted. Linens, pillows, and towels are not provided your camper must bring his own.  Campers should bring enough gear to cover 2-3 days of training. Washers and dryers are available, but detergent is not provided.

There will be a room check each night, we are required to report anyone missing to the local police department immediately.  They cannot leave the campus without an adult for any reason.

COMMUTERS: Commuters are not free to come and go as they please. You may not leave in between sessions. We take roll at the beginning of every session, if you are late we will notify campus security and your emergency contact.  Parents, if you plan to leave with your child in between sessions please communicate that to a counselor. All travel arrangements to and from camp must be in writing, so if your camper has permission to drive him or herself we must have a note. If your child will be picked up from camp by someone other then yourself, we must have a note.  Please pick up your camper from Gore Arena at the end of the night session.  Commuters will have access to showers, so please send them with extra gear daily.

Campbell is a small safe campus located in Harnett County, NC and is overseen by the Harnett County Sheriff’s office. The camperes will be well supervised, we will have a camp counselor staying on every dorm floor.  I highlighted the attached map of the campus so that you can see where your camper will be eating (Marshbanks), sleeping (Bob Barker Hall), and wrestling (Gore Arena).

Below is a message from Cary regarding Camp rules:
Camp rules are discussed clearly at the first session and are posted throughout the dorm. We strictly adhere to our rules for good reason: we want to ensure the safety of your son and maximize his/her overall Camp experience. We believe good discipline begins at home and would appreciate you communicating with your son or daughter about proper conduct while at camp. If disciplinary action is required, the Camp Director will contact parents to explain the situation. Campers will be removed from Camp immediately and sent home at the parent's expense for breaking major rules--including but not limited to: being caught with drugs or alcohol, leaving campus without permission, or bullying/hazing
Parents are welcome to stay and watch training sessions. HUGE emphasis on "watch". Please do not coach your athlete or express your disappointment with them during camp.

If you have any other questions, requests or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. If we have communicated about special arrangements for your camper, please email to confirm.  The sooner, the better.
Last but not least, thank you all for choosing Campbell Camps!
