The Prospect Camp is intended for competitive high school aged wrestlers. These campers are highly motivated to compete in college; many are State Champs and Placers with national experience. We caution campers against registering above their ability for this Camp. Campers will be expected to come in shape with an understanding of how to "chain drill" through multiple attacks and counters. Training sessions will be a physical and exhaustive mix of technique, combative drilling, and live situations.

Raleigh-Durham; RDU is the major airport near Campbell University and is approximately 45 minutes away. We do not do airport pick-ups or drop-offs campers typically take a taxi or Uber to reach campus.
Campbell University is located in Buies Creek, NC 27506. Some car mount GPS systems (TomTom, Garmin, etc...) do not allow for a search of Buies Creek, NC; you can however find the University via smart phone or Google Maps. If this is a concern, please prepare to have printed directions in advance.
During check-in each camper is required to bring $45 via check or cash for the key deposit. This will cover the cost for any lost or stolen keys. When the key is returned at checkout, the key deposit check/cash will be returned. Key deposits are what we are charged by Housing if a key is not returned at check out. Since rekeying is done within hours after check out, a key found later has no value, therefore the key deposit cannot be returned.
We will do our best to honor roommate requests otherwise we will match up campers, younger kids especially, with campers of similar age and weight. Please email all roommate requests to Erin Kolat.
Please understand that there is always a case of a team member who may not be in the same room as his teammates because of odd numbers. We do our best to avoid this but if numbers are uneven your camper is placed in the next available bed.
Campers will have dorm beds but linens will not be provided. Campers should bring towel, linens, and/or sleeping bag with pillow.
In the event of an injury or illness, your camper will be evaluated by our NATA certified, head trainer. He/she may recommend that your son sit out a session or revisit the trainer before the next session. Your son should follow the advice of the trainer as it is in his best interest to do so. If your son has not registered a complaint, the trainer cannot always know that something is wrong just by looking at a camper. In the event the trainer recommends your son see a physician, the trainer will try to contact you immediately.
If the medical staff determines your son/daughter has a minor injury (jammed finger, etc) they will more than likely suggest they sit and watch. If your son/daughter gives signs or verbally explains any of the following symptoms they will need to leave camp with a parent or guardian to be examined by a physician:
We take skin infections very serious and there will be no refunds if you arrive at camp with skin infection. During the check-in process every camper will be screened by the medical staff before they will be allowed to participate. If it is determined you have a skin infection you will not be allowed to participate in camp.
Please make sure that if you have a skin infection prior to camp that you have a doctors note showing that you have been treated and no longer contagious to other campers.
Skin Infection Treatment Guidelines:
The book on skin infections is long if you discovering something get to a doctor and arrive with the proper medical forms so you can be cleared with proof of treatment.
